Good book I just read

I just finished The Keeper's Son.  It was a very fast read.  By 
Homer Hickam who wrote October Sky.  It's a book about a 
lighthouse family on the Outer Banks of North Carolina during 
World War II.  It's kind of hard to describe except to say that it's 
very well written, has lots of surprises, is romantic yet tough in
its 
way.  Anyway, I recommend it.
