Jamieson,

Got this email right after I sent the one asking what you are reading.
AHHHHHHHHH....you are reading one of my favorite books. I loved Wizards
First Rule so much so that I have all the books in the series and have read
them all. Waiting for the next one...hoping it'll come out soon. Don't give
up on it! You can tell how much I loved it ; just look at my email and
notice the nick (I spelt it differently cause the other was taken) but there
it is. LOL!

Have to run,
Barbara

Oh, and I'm reading Wizards First Rule by Terry Goodkind right now. I
dind't think I'd like it (it's true high fantasy and that usually doesn't
appeal to me) but it's fantastic so far and I'm only 40 pages in. Also,
there's a good deal on it: You can get it for $3.99 in Canada, $2.99 in the
US in bookstores, as they've released it in a special edition, possibly to
get others interested in it. It worked for me!

    Hey Barbara and all,
I've read both Little Alters Everywhere and Guilty Pleasures. I LOVED
Little Alters and found it to be superior to Devine Secrets of the Ya-Ya
Sisterhood, though it is still a good book. What I found interesting about
Little Alters was that it gave us snapshots of these characters lives and it
was so deep, anyone could identify with someone in it. It was also a nice
dose of Southern hospitality. :)

I was introduced to Laurell K. Hamilton when I read A Kiss of Shadows.
While Guilty Pleasures is a different book, and I still prefer her Meredith
Gentry series, Anita Blake is one tough cookie. An excellent read. :)

Hi! I'm sending a test message to make sure that we're all still
here. Things have been awfully quiet.
Is it all right if I send about ten new members here to discuss all
kinds of books? Let's see if this post comes through.
