There has not been anything discussed on this list. I am new and I think that this is one of the very few postings that have come in my email. I don't know why there is not much going on but as I am new I don't know what the list was like.

Take care,
Irene

  Greetings Fellow Readers.
I'm back on email status after a long absence (much of it due to illness) and thought I should re-introduce myself to those who might not remember me and to any new members.
I'm the author of 6 books and 2 motion pictures. The films were "Short Time", starring Dabney Coleman (Fox, 1989), which was a megaflop; and "Blue Streak", starring Martin Lawrence (Columbia, 1999), which did rather well, God knows why.
My published books include: "The Official Hollywood Handbook," "The History of Hollywood High," "The Tinseltown Murders," "The Case of the Hardboiled Dicks," and "Love's Reckless Rash"(written under the pen name Rosemary Cartwheel).
My new novel What's Wrong With Dorfman? (originally self-published)was recently bought by St. Martin's Press and will be published by them in August 2003. I have since sold them another, which will be released some time in 2004.
I live in California with my wife and 2 daughters, one of whom will be starting college next Fall. I am currently reading "The Russian Debutante's Handbook," by Gary Shteyngart. I just finished reading "April, 1865," by Jay Winik, which was quite fascinating.
I look forward to joining in future discussions.
        Regards to all,
        John Blumenthal
