Re: Re: greetings!

I like Asimov, although sometimes I find he can become a bit tedious.  His 
books are all really detailed, though, so you end up feeling like you 
already know what he is telling you about the science and the history of the 
future.  I have always been fascinated about the social aspects of sci-fi 
writing,  what the authors predict for our future, and the various 
ethnicities that are formed.  I really like reading stuff from before the 
Cold War ended for that . . . they seem to feel that it would last for 
centuries, it was such a part of everyday life.
