Or, stated another way, if you do download a PG text to your favorite reading device, and you happen to actually be able to read that book without becoming so disgusted by one or another "digital artifacts" of your reading experience that you throw your reading device hard against the wall, or immediately delete that PG book, then it is only because the "transcriber" of that digital book has learned enough about those potential artifacts, and cares enough about those potential artifacts, that they have actively made correct "engineering tradeoffs" that correctly allowed you to have a positive reading experience in spite of those artifacts.
