I have finished translating jeebies to a widechar Unicode UTF-8 =
compatible version =E2=80=9Cjeebies_u=E2=80=9D, if anyone wants it =
=E2=80=93 completing my translation of the three tools =E2=80=93 =
gutcheck, gutspell, and jeebies =E2=80=93 to Unicode versions:
gutcheck_u, gutspell_u, and jeebies_u.

Jeebies_u appears to be mainly more =E2=80=9CUnicode friendly=E2=80=9D =
in practice in that it doesn=E2=80=99t mangle curly quotes and =
apostrophes, making its output more easily read and understood. If you =
are not using curlies, it may not buy you much, unless you=E2=80=99re =
mixing in a bunch of Latin extensions or something. Still, its nice to =
be looking at output which isn=E2=80=99t corrupted.

Again, this presumably contains a little =E2=80=9CWindows =
Only=E2=80=9D-ish which would take some work to find and fix on say Mac.

If people didn=E2=80=99t want =E2=80=9Cconsole-out=E2=80=9D but would be =
happy with =E2=80=9Cfile-out=E2=80=9D instead then I think it would =
probably be easier to make these say =E2=80=9CMac friendly.=E2=80=9D=20
