Re: ebook sales

You know, I hope people aren't relying on Noel as their only source of  
information on the publishing industry because it's clear he never  
bothers to check his facts. I won't address the burgeoning misogyny of  
his output other than to mention it.

There were several successful ebook companies in operation long before  
Ellora's Cave made it big selling erotic romance, and the making it  
sound as if companies like eReader and Fictionwise "sprang up" solely  
for the purpose of selling erotica is not just erroneous but  
offensive. If Noel wants to run an opinion column that's fine, but  
trying to pass it off as journalism is a sham.
