For those unfamiliar with the word, misogyny is hatred of women. 
 
I spent much of my adult life helping to raise four daughters and a son in a four-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house. Between my wife and four daughters, until all except my wife fled the nest, it was always something of a challenge for me to find an unoccupied bathroom. That might drive a less patient male to mild misogyny.
 
I had brunch yesterday with the family at the new home of our youngest daughter and her husband. They were married in August, and just back from the honeymoon in Costa Rica. Since my wife and the daughters have never been averse to criticizing me when an opportunity arises. I mentioned misogyny. The daughters weren’t much interested in that as a subject. But they did take particular enthusiasm in pointing out that I was letting my eyebrows grow so long that I was starting to look like Andy Rooney.
 
This thread has likely outgrown its usefulness. If others wish to continue it, fine. But I have work to do and contracts to write, so I’m done playing for a while. I am verklempt. Talk amongst yourselves.
