You have a point, Jon, but if I were to do that I'd plan to have a big warehouse filled with 
those painted bricks with their bottlecap buttons when the Newsweek cover picture 
appeared!  Although I must say that it's a little surprising to me that people are buying 
Kindles when there's so much skepticism about and criticism of them, what's more 
surprising to me is that Amazon sold out of them so rapidly.  There could always have 
been a last-minute production glitch, but I think Liz Burton is right when she says that 
Amazon was simply overcautious in estimating demand.
