Try looking at the Bookshelves (http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Category:Bookshelf) on the PG website. There's one for "children's" literature (http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Children%27s_Literature_%28Bookshelf%29) which really means Children's Classics, many of which would be considered young adult today. She probably hasn't read all of the Louisa May Alcott books, for example. There's also lots of old SF on the Science Fiction bookshelf. There's a Children's Fiction Bookshelf, but atm it only contains the works of a few authors who don't quite fit into classics, but are a step up from "The Motor Boys go to Arkansas" (fictious title) which are in turn listed on the Children's Book Series Shelf. There's also a Bookshelf for "School Stories", and some old periodicals that some young adults mi
ght find interesting. PG has most of the volumes of the Junior Classics and Journeys Through Bookland which may also be of interest.
If she pokes around at PG and finds some interesting things, please ask her to add to the Bookshelf pages.
