Then it's probably just as well that we have dictionaries to provide
common definitions.
Lots of people don't think very highly of badly written soft porn and
romance novels aren't everyone's cuppa tea.
Points of view, points of view...
How many customers have I lost by expounding my 'definition' of
football as 22 guys in suspiciously tight knee pants and loud shirts
chasing each other around as they contend for the privilege of putting
something that looks very much like a suppository in someone's end
zone. Elements of sadism, masochism, and far worse.
That definition didn't go over well back in Texas, of course, where
football is a state-sponsored religion.
