All of this discussion is really interesting . . . thanks.

As a reader, I find one of the Kindle's chief selling points is also a
reason I'm holding back: that nifty wireless connection.  Given my past
record at fictionwise, I'm sure that I wouldn't be able to resist buying
kindle books.  The wireless connection would make it SO EASY to spend a
zillion dollars.  So I'm holding back *at least* until I manage to read all
the ebooks I've *already* bought.  Or at least, until I manage to read
*more* of them.  Or at least, until I've managed to *download* them.  (My
ebw is already full, so I need to read or delete if I'm going to put more
titles on there.)

Something tells me that publishers & authors won't find "ease of purchase"
to be a drawback. :)
