Re: Why I am getting a Kindle and give up on ebookwise

The firm that makes a gadget that will download all the different formats, 
encrypted or not as easily as the Kindle apparently downloads, will send 
e-book sales soaring. For old fogies like me, it's all the computer stuff 
that kills me. when I bought the ebookwise it took me two days to get my 
first book downloaded and I never did find it easy. And hated the battery 
life. Went back to paper books. I'm seriously thinking of the kindle for 
Christmas in a year, after the next improved version comes out. That would 
be especially neat if you're stuck in a hospital or going on a trip, etc. 
Long battery life, instant download. Works for me. I think.
