Borders will soon have digital kiosks

Borders, which is based in Michigan, and Lulu.com said Friday that they were launching a prototype program through which self-publishing kiosks would be placed in some of its stores.

Evidently Borders has ditched iUniverse to go with Lulu.com.

The article states "The companies said they also plan to partner on other services in the future."

This could indicate Borders will offer downloads of ebooks via their kiosks, according to some reports.
