I surveyed various ideas about this and tracked my own sales.  On a 
fine scale and above a certain number the relationship is loose because 
it is relative to other books.  But if you book sells only 
occassionally you can see the jump from a big number to a number in the 
vicinity of 50,000 each time it happens.
