Actually, I'm a reader only, and have been for years.  I owned the  
original Rocket, have read on my PocketPC, and now look forward to  
reading on my iPhone in the near future (although I can do Amazon  
Shorts now).  I read very little in paper versions, only when I don't  
want to actually buy the title or it's not available as an ebook.

I'm also fortunate enough to live in the San Francisco Bay area, where  
the public library system allows you to check out ebooks online.  I  
can't say that the selection is overly terrific, but I'm happy to at  
least have the opportunity.

I'm also willing to get rid of my paper versions once the electronic  
versions are released.

Just thought I'd weigh in as a reader!
