RE: How to promote an ebook?

I'm taking steps at this point by sending out free review copies to any site that covers e-books, e-reading and e-reading devices. Most tech/gadget sites have an e-reader lurking in their midst. So far, it has been slow but I'm getting some positive responses.
So far, it seems that to be working. The main thing I'm finding is persistence at getting into the right hands that have an interest in looking at it and will make a positive mention on their site.

I am trying it find a new free online method of ebook promotion this month, but I must say I am running out of ideas. So far the only thing that seems to have had any effect at all was updating my blog and website and the entrecard blog ad service. I would appreciate any suggestions.
