Joseph,
If you're referring to PDF, you're right. Whatever font size the
publisher selected, you're stuck with. However, all the ebook readers
I have or have used include the facility to increase font size. Not
enough for some, perhaps, but given most mass market paperbacks these
days seem to get their font size from the telephone book, it's at
least competitive, and the more advanced readers like the Kindle do
even better.
