Facebook Pages vs. Profile

Those of you who know author Kelly Moran might know she had her FB 
page deleted. I've heard of several authors having this happen to 
them in the last few days. Most had friends in the 4-500 range. None 
of them realized that advertising your books on your FB *profile* is 
against the rules or they just ignored it. You aren't supposed to 
have videos or bookcovers on there that promote your work, either. 
You should use your 'regular' name or nickname for this page and not 
use your professional name. On my profile, I have Charlee Compo with 
my wndkepr email addy.

To promote your work, set up a Facebook *Page* (although you must use 
a different email account than for your profile) to promo your 
writing/books.  Here you may use your writing name, add your videos, 
book covers, reviews, whatever you wish. On mine, I have Charlotte 
Boyett~Compo with my windlegends email addy.

I also set up a group called Senuous Dark Fantasy and would love to 
have you join as well as become a fan on the CBC page. I'll be your 
fan on yours and join the group you set up if you create one. Just do 
a search on Charlee Compo, Charlotte Boyett-Compo, or Sensuous Dark 
Fantasy to find my FB presence.
