Re: Kindle Publishing Guidelines - Update

Dear  Amazon Kindle Team,

YOU guys bought Mobipocket, then YOU guys changed the format specs.
Kindle ebook sales numbers are yet to be publicized or proven.
Searching Google, I can't find *any* substantiated info about Kindle sales at all.
That is NOT particularly inspiring.

Now you want me to download a chubby file, install it on an already overburdened Windows system (I'm using more than a mouse and a monitor), and mess with *yet another* conversion to a revised proprietary format for my 30 titles.

Mobipocket.com has never generated sales enough to justify having signed up and made conversions in the first place.

FICTIONWISE sales of my SF and other titles generated $37,693.06.
They take the RTF file I send and make the ebook formats they sell.

Mobipocket has generated how much..?
**TOTAL, that is, since my signup date?**

Now Amazon wants me to do a whole new set of conversions.
No.
If you want to see my stuff converted to your new revised Mobi/Kindle format, YOU make the revisions necessary.
If you can't or won't make those conversions to your new proprietary format, let me know.
