I just read the one's with subjects of interest to me. Unfortuneately sometimes the subject doesn't get swithced when the topic does but the mods do a pretty good job catching it

Chris, good question, and one that others may also be asking:

The poll question is:

"Do you regularly follow the discussions in this forum?"

I then expanded upon what I meant by "regularly follow":

"You commit some time on a regular, shorter-term basis (e.g. daily
or weekly) to, at the minimum, peruse most of the message subjects
in this forum, and to actually read those messages which interest
  you."

This means that one doesn't have to read all the messages to say
'yes' to the poll question -- only that you at least peruse through
most of the Subject: headers.

What I'm interested in determining is how many of the group members
actively cull through the messages and read those which interest them.

(In many respects, I'm actually more interested in simply how many
members of the group reply to this poll, regardless of whether they
answer 'yes' or 'no'. This gives me an idea of how many are active
participants versus those who are "members" but don't do anything.)

Hope this clarifies the poll question...
