First of all, I can't seem to find one. If there really _are_ any
copies of _Esquire_ with an E-ink panel on the cover, you can't prove
it by me. They must have sent them all to reporters. I'm basing my
impression on the video on
http://tinyurl.com/esquireink
(which is a real video of a physical display), and on Esquire's very
own video (which appears to be a "simulated picture:")

I have seen the future, and it is a neon sign.
It is literally flashy. There is absolutely nothing there.
I assumed that after it flashed a few times to get my attention, it
would start displaying a _story_ or something, but no.
I've seen digital watches do more. I was more excited the first day I
saw Netscape render an HTML page with the "blink" attribute. I got
more useful information from the Camel sign in Times Square that blew
smoke rings.
So much for E-ink. Just call it "E-blink."
