Suggestion for handling book give-aways

After I put the announcement on the eBook Community group concerning 
Andrea Connors, I was contacted by a lawyer. He gave me a paragraph 
he says I should use each time I upload a book to any winner of a 
contest in which I have offered a download of my book. He suggested 
that other authors might also include this. While it won't stop the 
illegal uploading of our books, it will make the winners aware of the 
situation...some of whom say they didn't know it was illegal. Perhaps 
it will give them pause, perhaps not. We can only try.

At any rate, you can use the paragraph if you like:

"To...put the winner's name here...I do not grant permission for this 
book to be copied in any format, sold, or otherwise transferred from  
your computer to another through upload to a file sharing peer  to 
peer program or as a prize in any other contest. Such action is 
illegal and in violation of the US Copyright Law. When you no longer 
want the books, they must be deleted from your computer. If you agree 
to these stipulations, please email me back and I will send the books 
to you."

If they write back agreeing, he then suggests you save the email, 
print it out with the header so you have the winner's ISP and if you 
find they have uploaded the book, you will have a better legal leg to 
stand on.
