I would recommend inquiring on the forums over at Mobileread.com. There are
a lot of people who do format conversions over there. A number of people,
myself included, have volunteered their services to convert into different
formats for free, at least for e-books that were going to be given away
free. (For books that are being sold, I think I might charge a small,
reasonable fee per book for conversion into eReader format, the format with
which I am most familiar.)

They also have some advice about e-book stores that will sell your work for
you; Mobipocket and Fictionwise aren't the only games in town.
