Whoever told you that libraries are free? I get reminded that they 
aren't when I pay my county property taxes. How could they be free? 
Books cost money. Library buildings need to be heated and so forth. 
Even though they feast on books, librarians also need to buy food, 
pay rent, and have all the other expenses the rest of us have. 

Is it your position that what writers write has no value?
