Hello. I'm new to this community, just as you are. I didn't have heaps of scorn layed upon my weary bones as you did. But then again, I didn't introduce myself, either. In fact, this is my very first post. Now then.  I would beg of you not to let the seemingly poor approach to a perfectly normal introduction ruin your day here. I learned long ago in a group far far away from here, to accept flames quietly,  You may have heard of  the Battlecruiser 3000 forums, led by Derek Smart. Talk about flames and derision....!!!! But I digress... Welcome, Friend, and I  hope you bring more with you! Anyone interested in ebooks should be in our forums, and thus, I repeat my welcome to you. Welcome, Friend!

In God We Trust.

Excuse me sir ... I in no way poo-pooed anything or anyone my answer

was polite and civil. I did not come here to sell ebooks or to do

anything other than join a group that deals with ebooks. I introduced

myself told people who I was what I did and where they could see my

work if they were so inclined. NOTHING MORE! I personally do not open

any exe files when they are sent to me via email. I couldn't care

less what they were. If I did not request them then I do not open

them. That however is not the point. I came to this group because for

a long time I have faced a constant barrage of slurs and slanders

from pompous twits who are protecting their own interests by trying

to kill any advancements in the industry that they deem detrimental

to their power and purse strings in the publishing industry.

I come into this group. Offer my credentials for what little they may

be worth and now I am some sort of monstrous leper who may want to

infect everyone's computer. You Know ????? I wish you all a happy and

safe life. May your computers live long and prosper virus free.I

think I will just go back to helping disgruntled and disenfranchised

poets who want nothing more than to sell a few CD's at poetry readings.

Tommy

PS: I truly thank you for your advise regarding regarding alternative

formats and will consider them in the future. Thank you for your time

and the wonderfully warm welcome.
