Good theory, you're definately not losing money if they hadn't heard of you. Best advice I can give is sell your other works inside your ebooks so if it does get stolen you can still increase your sales

I'm glad to be a new member of this group and happy to weigh in on this
important topic.

Two thumbs up for Eric Flint's articles. 

How many books have I loaned out over the years? Is this piracy, too?
Maybe. But from Flint's perspective, this is probably a good thing.
After all, if someone enjoys a book I have loaned him, he becomes
familiar with the author and, when browsing a bookstore, may see and
recognize that author's name, increasing the possibility of a new book
sale. The author now sells a book to a reader who otherwise would never
have heard of him. Rather than losing a potential book sale (from the
original book I loaned), the author has gained a book sale.

I once wrestled with the idea of encrypting, or locking, the e-books
that we sell. When a person buys one of our writing books, he receives a
PDF file. He could e-mail the file to his 100 closest friends. Have I
lost 100 potential sales? Not really. Those 100 people may never have
heard of us, our services, or our books. They would not have bought the
book anyway, so I haven't lost anything. On the other hand, now 100 new
people now know who we are. Perhaps they will buy a different book.
Perhaps they will need our services. We haven't lost revenue; we
increased it.

This is why, ultimately, I am against DRM.
