I am sorry dej, but I contest your statement: ' It's not
like this stuff cannot be tracked'. There is no tracking
available. For a number of works you can find entries in
various places, but these are nothing more than that. Thre
is no compulsory registration of copyright material
anywhere, and I doubt if such compulsion would include all
material anyway.
Worst of all such legislation would open the floodgates to
wholesale breach of any material. The arguments make no
sense to me, except with the intent of destroying copyright
by the back door - something Google seems intent on doing.
