Newbie eBook writer and web player

I just wanted to know more about eBook writing. I Have just wrote my first book and planning on witting another. Are there areas where one should go for promoting their work and getting it out there for everyone. The first one I wrote, storage4profit, is based on a job I do now and have been doing it for 3 years now. I have been successful in it and wanted to share my success.
