hosting advice requested -Ffreehostia

I am in the process of making some alteration in my approach. This actually picks up something I have done before.  I need to experiment, but be able to  take something forward when it works - yes, I realise that is obvious ;-). 

However, I don't want to start getting in anyway technical [that's becasue I get deflected into learning those fields - but I don't need to.

So Freehostia appeals. It offers free hosting as a start [with domain registration as a requirement, but the prices are reasonable for those]. It also seems to have a reasonable stepping stone through upgrades.

I am not intending to stay with my current host, as - although they deliver a very high quality of service - I have hit their weakness and it leaves me very uncertain about what that means. Although they have discussed this with me and thanked me for input their response is inadequate for my peace of mind.

On the basis of their site content Freehostia deliver something equal to or better than my current host for less money [and that is some contest actually!].

Is there any advice or reputation that anyone has on Freehostia?  Or another that might suit me?
