Likewise any of the other e-book stores (Fictionwise, eReader, Kobo, etc.) assuming that Apple allows those stores' reader applications on the iPad the way they are on the iPhone now. > where can the Sony reader download from? The Sony store, as well as other unencrypted e-book sources. (Actually, the Sony reader can only "download from" a USB connection to your computer, except for the Daily Edition which has wireless.) > How will people make decisions about hardware and to what extent does that drive the way people read?
