Re Smashwords: my experiences with them were far from satisfactory. Also, I've read in various forums that people have found that even though a title might be 'shipped' from Smashwords to an ebook onseller, that the title still never appears in that sellers catalog. For reading an EPUB book on any platform, I find that Stanza does the job on my iPod Touch perfectly. Stanza's great; you can set up any online ebook source within the program (e.g. manybooks.net) and download titles directly.
