Re: ebooks "a smoke and mirrored mess"?

Is this meant to be tongue-in-cheek? I don't actively pursue music on
the Internet very much, but my impression is that there are a good many
mid-range performers finding reasonably-sized audiences via
intermediaries such as Magnatunes and Last.FM. I've listened to quite a
few of the Magnatunes offerings and while few of them have inspired me
to investigate further, most of them are presented to a high
professional standard. I don't know what the musical equivalent of
'needing a good edit' is, but it doesn't seem to fit here. The overall
average quality is at least as good as that heard on Top 40 radio. And
Magnatunes is still growing, so it must be giving something back to its
suppliers.

Jon.
