Anyone doing picture books as ebooks?

HI all,

I am finally contemplating, maybe, jumping into publishing my own works. I 
know I do not have the money to do print. I decided that since I have an art 
background, I could do the illustrations. It will be hard for me, but I 
guess with practice and lots of goofs, I can do well. This will lower my 
monetary output by a lot.

Is any one doing picture books as ebooks? Do you think there is a market 
for them in Kindle or iPad?

I would like any input.
