Re: books in iPad Apps

Well, it depends. A lot of appbooks are exactly that: just simple e-book
reader frameworks with a book file packaged inside. (O'Reilly's appbooks are
unencrypted so it is possible to open the app with an unzip program and
extract the EPUB file hidden in a subdirectory.) Others go full multimedia
and add music and movies and things, but I suspect those use more custom
software frameworks.
