Correction: they don't flow at all. PDF is a print-ready format, inherently 
not reflowable. Which is their inconvenient, being unable to fill the whole 
screen should the page ratio of the document differ from the device screen's 
ratio, or to change the font face/size. Although I believe this to be a minor 
issue. Who actually uses that feature?

But that's beside the point. I think Amazon made a big blunder when they opted 
for mobi instead of PDF or epub. PDF allows to determine precisely how a 
document should display on the page, while epub is reflowable while being much 
less limited. mobi's so inferior that it's the weak point of the device; 
what's the point of having a next-gen ereader with an ebook format meant for 
an antique, third-world device? This is absurd. Amazon might think they're 
clever because they own the format, but see how that attitude helped Sony in 
the long run...
