Well, you are not the only only to be fed up with failures of communication. For me it was the other way round - and on this list many years ago. At that time the idea that everything should be free was in high vogue. that is almost dead now, but it took repeated batting away of very poor arguments.

As it happens you are wrong on the 'nobody moves and iota' line. I have seen a great deal of movement in may ways, and have accepted some logical arguments that are clearly sensible and worthy of inclusion in the future nature of the digital situation.

Barry has allied himself to arguments that having little to do with teh problem he finally revealed. Once I had understood that I tried to develop a discussion of his problems and answers to it. Unfortunately it was he that was unable to actually address points made, and decided to leave. That is not desireable, I agree.

But be clear, his first post was exactly like that of any pirate looking for others. It was an accusation of what I can only describe as emotional constipation.
