Really? Perhaps you'd like to support that assertion with some supporting information. A few definitions, perhaps, Lee! Start with defining 'truth'.

You like assertions. You also like statements that you don't back up. I didn't mention any God or gods. The Commandments I refer to are common to all three Abramaic religions which are the foundations of western and middle eastern civilisation. Pehaps you'd like to reveal what belief uses a different one. All atheists and Rationalists I have known and discussed with also accept the same morals because they actually have a fundamental reality.

I accept that there is one God, with many interpretations, So your point of competing gods makes no sense to me. According to the founders of your country, all of whom were Christians, the Ten Commandments were fundamental to the nation, but thre was to be no state religion. Nonetheless, Christian ministers take the lead in national occasions and activities where prayers are said, and Each President swears the oath of allegiance on the Christian Holy Bible. 

I'm pretty certain 'so help me God' is part of that oath. In court the oath is primarily taken on the Chritian Bible text. And, unles there has been a very recent change, witnesses are expected to take the religious oath. Christianity is the religion of the state, even if the state has no state religion.

Until very recently practically all American public buildings had copies of the commanments, or other symbols of that belief visible. The laws of your country do not have any assertion of any alternative to the Ten Commandments, but most certainly the large part inherited from English law were made in light of moral understandings as expressed in Christian belief. Do you not know these things about your coutry and its inheritances?

If you are discussing, rather than throwing mud pies, please elucidate with justifications for your assertions.
