I don't think either ebooks or print books are superior. Both have
advantages and disadvantages. The choices are the important thing...not one
or the other dying.
My forecast is close to yours and will be for quite some time. While I do
believe offset will have to eventually give way to POD and ebook will take a
more equal share of the market, I believe that even when print is
prohibitive and becomes a "dying" market, many people will pay a premium to
own print books.
