disposable E-readers

[I have yet to actually understand how this will work! But the ingredients are certainly interesting. I suspect this will further splinter the reading market, rather than capture a major portion. Very interesting though. I do make a longer comment on just one comment in the article - below.]

This comment is not correct: '...Instead it seems that we are indeed a disposable society.  Holding on to anything for very long is just not in our nature....'.

Not correct in the sense it is not generally in people's nature's to do this. The idea of disposable came from the manufacturers in our industrial society as a response to market saturation.

Sixty years of advertising bombardment have made 'disposable' acceptable, but few people really like throwing familiar things away.
