it's official...iTunes is the WORST

I'm not kidding. A lot of times people ask about dealing with one
distribution channel or another. iBookstore/iTunes is officially the
WORST system I deal with, bar none.

It's not user friendly. Correcting errors is a nightmare. You have to
load each book twice, to begin with, for it to acknowledge that it's
there. Once isn't enough, guys? I load to everyone else once.

And don't get me started on having to enter each individual territory
and price separately, even though many of them will be the same
price...like France and Germany are both EUR...and USD, CAD, and AUD
all use the same pricing, because the difference of pennies is wiped
out by the tier pricing iBookstore uses. Oh, and that nasty glitch
they have in EUR that doesn't want to accept a price of 3.99 EUR. No
clue why, but it wants to bump it down to 2.99 for EUR only. The rest
of the pricing seems to work well.

You know, I use Macs in the schools, and they know how to program over
at Apple, so why is their interface so badly-designed?

Not to mention that books sit there long after you've completed
them...processing and not moving. We got the first dozen books up and
the rest have been sitting there for a week and a half without a
single one loading for sale.

We better make a LOT of money on this channel, or it simply is not
worth the time to deal with Apple's system.
