Keynote Speaker: Joe Murphy, a leading innovator and trend spotter at the forefront of designing strategies for meeting the changing technological landscape and Science Librarian at Yale University Libraries, will speak on “Location Aware Technology for Libraries.” This keynote explains the growing role of location in social networking and information engagement and outlines library applications of geobased social media Other Speakers: · Eric Gordon is a scholar of new media, with a special interest in civic media, location-based media, and urban design. He is an associate professor in the department of Visual and Media Arts at Emerson College and will speak on “Why Location Matters in a Networked World” · Jason A. Clark is Head of Digital Access and Web Services at Montana State University Libraries where he builds digital library applications and sets digital content strategies. He will speak on “Where are you?
