Are you expecting a large number of purchasing readers to visit?
Seems more likely a large number of authors hoping to sell.

I retired on a couple of small pensions. Ebooks provide mad money.
re: marketing... a link on a page few cash-clutching readers will ever see isn't marketing.

To help with 'what writers do well' I have an Edits group.
For marketing (which most writers don't do well) I have a number of ebook retailers, premier among them being Fictionwise.

At least enough to offset what I consider an exorbitant entry fee.
After that, I could forget about the award until it's time to give it to someone.
