XPOSTED: Writers Exchange E-Publishing - website down and emails bouncing

Hi all,

For the last nearly 24 hours writers-exchange.com has been down, as has my email, because we are currently experiencing an active denial of service attack. In other words a hacker is attacking the site (or our webhost) so that nobody can use it.

I do not know why this is happening or how long it will last, but it means that for the duration you cannot access the website and I cannot get any emails.

So if you have tried to contact me and received an error message, that is why.

I am currently having to use the yahoogroups website to send this.

Hopefully there will be no damage to the site and business can resume as usual.
