I tend to agree with Ed, but having brought up the pool contest
comparison, how would people feel about a contest in which all the
paying entrants get to judge? Say you have 10,000 entries, and at each
round all the entrants can vote to keep a story in or out? No other
criteria. The best-scoring 10% of stories go on to the next round.
Survivor for eBooks...
How much would you expect to pay for the right to participate in the
judging process?
