Reading from adobe digital editions or Barnews & Noble site

Is there a way to read your books from the Barnes & Noble site online ( not from the Nook color)? I would like to read sometimes on my pc but I don't know how to add it to my Adobe Digital Editions...and can the books be read from there? Is there a website that shows you how to do this? Thanks to any suggestions.
