The $6bn Kindle

[I remain the cynic I have always been :-) , but there is no doubt that

the Kindle is commercially successful. Forecasts for 2012 see the
turnover for device and ebooks reaching $6bn and being 10% of Amazon
turnover next year. This reinforces my comments at times about the
Amazon percentages offered authors and publishers. That aside, none can
doubt its importance at the moment. Pretty chart on link for those as
likes them.]
