Making sure it is where people buy; and 2. Making sure they know it is there. Each book is different, and markets are different. So your job is to first know what market niche(s) your book is aimed at; in other words, what type of people might buy your book? Then you need to make contact. For you at this point I imagine your best starting point would be articles or a blog or both. You can have your own website to sell from, but attracting people to it is not particularly easy. There are already many eretailers who do attract large numbers of book buyers. The biggest are Kindle, Apple and B&N(Nook); there are many others, some with specialist emphasis. From that point it starts to get more specific. But you have offered almost no information about the book, or whether you have read articles or books on preparing and marketing, and on ebook formats. Some detail is also going to vary from country to country, so mention of your domicile also helps.
