Amazon. Ha. Unless you do something to gain fame or notoriety, you'll very likely sell more copies from a private website than you will at Amazon.
But since most people don't know that, you can still say, "My stuff's at Amazon" at non-literary parties and look KEWL! :)

Fictionwise is still the best place to sell ebooks... at least until Barnes
& Noble gives Fictionwise the B.Dalton treatment.
Strongly hoping that won't happen. BN flatly doesn't have the hang of
selling ebooks yet.

I think Omnilit (of/by ARE) could become a major in the ebook industry. Last
time I checked, the titles displayed were mostly romance and femporn, but
they've diversified into the other genres and they seem to understand how to
reach readers.
My stuff is at Omnilit via Lightning Source/Ingram, which means it didn't
show as easily in in-site searches. Once I located one of my titles there, I
was able to find the others with a bit of effort.
I guess I could change those results if I sent the titles up myself, but I'm
currently tired of doing stuff like that. Maybe later.

Conventions. SF conventions, other-genre conventions, comic conventions
(yes, they read real books, too). Maybe we could organize a bit and have a
few authors at each convention flacking both their own titles and this group
or a publisher/reseller/sponsor-of-some-sort.
Maybe epublishers and resellers should consider having a booth at the major
conventions. Authors could man the booth. Cheap labor. :)
