Hathi 'orphans' parents found; LCA slams case

[If the Authors Guild's support for its case, in revealing how easily

the authors and representatives of works can be found, the Hathi Trust's
legs are looking quite invisible. Three minutes to find a copyright
holder looks fast even for standard searches, let alone where there is a
claim by the orphanage. And this may be fortuitous in appearing at the
same time as the Library Copyright Alliance shouts in support of the
Hathi move; indeed it raises questions about the LCA itself.]
